Go to the scrip you want to buy from your watchlist and press the shortcut key F1. 


How do you add a scrip to your watchlist?




Terms used in the order placing window are listed below

1. Exhg-seg: Exchange name in which you want to place an order.

2. Order Type: Limit or Market

3. Instrument Name: Select the segment of the exchange you want to trade in such as Option Index (OPDIDX) etc.

4. Symbol: Select the symbol you want to trade.

5. Qty: Specify the number of scrips.

6. Product Type: 

    1. NRML 

    2. MIS

7. Validity:

    1. Day: This order will be valid for the whole day.

    2. IOC: (Immediate or Cancelled) allows a user to buy or sell a security as soon as the order is released into the market, failing which the order will be removed from the market. A partial match is possible for the order, and the unmatched portion of the order is canceled immediately. IOC orders are only used when placing orders in very large quantities. When IOC orders don't get matched, an applicable error will be displayed on the system
